The Parent/Student Handbook serves as a comprehensive guide to LUMIN’s policies, procedures, and expectations. It’s designed to keep families informed and aligned with our mission to provide a Christ-centered education that builds character, fosters a love for learning, and prepares students for lifelong learning.

Student Nutrition Services

At LUMIN Schools, we understand that healthy, balanced meals are crucial for a child’s success and well-being. That’s why we partner with trusted food service providers to offer nutritious breakfast and lunch options that support learning and growth.

Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP)

We believe every child deserves access to an education that meets their individual needs. Through SNSP, students with IEPs receive specialized support.
  • Schools with Full-Time SNSP Teachers: Pilgrim and Northwest
  • Schools with Part-Time SNSP Teachers: Granville, St. Peter-Immanuel (SPI), and St. Martini
 
Services Include:
  • Regular one-on-one or small-group sessions to achieve IEP goals using research-based resources and data-driven instruction. 
  • We create a learning plan for students with an IEP.
Note: This service is offered at Granville, Northwest, Pilgrim, St. Peter- Immanuel, and St. Martini.

Title Services

Rooted in our commitment to academic excellence, Title services help students build strong foundational skills in reading and math.
Where Offered: 
    • Full-time Title Math and Reading support at Granville, Pilgrim, and Northwest.
    • Full-time Title Reading and part-time Title Math at SPI and Renaissance Taylor.
    • Full-time Title Reading at St. Martini and Renaissance Villa.
Focus Areas:
  • Small-group instruction tailored to individual student needs in reading and math.

Reading Corps

We know that strong literacy skills are key to future success. Reading Corps offers targeted tutoring for students in grades K-3 to build a strong foundation in reading.
*Where Offered: Available at Granville, Northwest, Pilgrim, St. Peter- Immanuel, Renaissance- Villa Campus.

Speech Services

Clear communication is essential for student success. In partnership with Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW), we provide:
  • In-person therapy services at St. Martini Lutheran School.
  • Virtual therapy services at Granville Lutheran School.

Health Services

We are dedicated to the physical well-being of our students to ensure they are healthy and ready to learn.
  • Services Include:
    • Individual Health and Emergency Plans for students with medical needs.
    • Annual Dental Screenings: Free cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications, offered during the school day.
    • Vision and hearing screenings to identify and address any barriers to learning.
    • Immunization reporting and compliance.
    • Stock Epi-Pen program for emergency response.
    • Health education for students and staff, including summer healthcare camps

Counseling Services

We care deeply about the emotional well-being of our students and families. Our counseling services provide mental health support and resources to help students thrive.
Programs Include:
    • Therapy Services: On-campus, mental health therapy with Lutheran Counseling and Family Services (LCFS) partnership, billed through insurance.
    • Social Work Support: Addressing behavioral and emotional challenges through direct services and collaboration with school staff.
    • Social Work Intern Program: 1 on 1 support and social-emotional learning activities, currently available at SPI through CUW. (Plans to expand the program for the upcoming school year.)
